Joint Meeting of the CALT Aboriginal Peoples and the Law Section, and Property and Trusts Section

Thème : L'arrêt récent de la Cour suprême du Canada dans l'affaire Delgamuukw c. Canada présente une occasion pour les professeurs de droit des biens et de droit constitutionnel d'aborder, de concert, le problème du contenu juridique du titre aborigène. Les sections "Droit et peuples autochtones" et "Biens et fiducies" vous proposent donc une réunion conjointe afin de mesurer comment l'affaire Delgamuukw amène à une remise en cause des idées reçues.

Topic: The recent Supreme Court of Canada judgment in Delgamuukw v. Canada provides an occasion to reflect on how matters pertaining to the content of aboriginal title are of shared concern to Property and Constitutional Law teachers. To discuss how this and related cases challenge established wisdom in public and private law, the CALT sections of Aboriginal Peoples and the Law and Property and Trust propose a joint meeting of interested teachers.
